Ricardo Rodriguez will be officially unveiled at Betis Sevilla on Monday. Wearing a white shirt, suit and tie, our national team player sits on a bar stool in the press room of the Estadio Benito Villamarínalle and patiently answers questions from the numerous journalists. "I come here to work and help the team with my experience," says the 31-year-old defender, raving about his new coach. He enjoyed the conversation with the Chilean Manuel Pellegrini, "just like the whole project".
The highlight of the presentation is the video greetings that are played. His Nati buddies Granit Xhaka, Breel Embolo and Manuel Akanji also surprise Rodriguez and congratulate him via video message.

Rodriguez's best Nati buddy, captain Granit Xhaka, focuses on other things than olive oil and sunshine: "I wish you all the best in Spain with Betis. I'm brutally happy that your dream is coming true and that you'll be playing in Spain," says Xhaka.
Akanji also sends a video message. "Brudi, all the best with your new club. I'm sure you and your family will settle in quickly, I wish you a good time and good luck," says the Man City star.

The family of the 120-times international player also had their say. For Rodriguez's dad José, who is Spanish, his son's move to his home country is something very special. "It was always one of my dreams that you would one day play in Spain. Now it has come true. Vamos Betis!"
His brothers Roberto and Francisco also congratulate him along with their loved ones.
