Bayern Munich gave newcomers Holstein Kiel no chance on the third Bundesliga matchday. The record champions are back at the top of the table - also thanks to a dream start in Kiel.

FC Bayern Munich took the lead in the Bundesliga table with a clear victory at newly promoted Holstein Kiel. The German record champions won 6:1 on the third matchday at the newcomers, who are still without points.

In front of 15,034 spectators in the sold-out Holstein Stadium, international Jamal Musiala scored the third-fastest goal in Munich's Bundesliga history after just 14 seconds. Star striker Harry Kane with three goals (7th minute/43rd/90th +1, penalty), an own goal by Kiel defender Nicolai Remberg (13th) and substitute Michael Olise (65th) also scored for Bayern. The goal for Holstein was scored by Armin Gigovic (82).
