FC Barcelona regained the lead in the Spanish championship with a last-minute win. Two goals in stoppage time gave coach Hansi Flick's side a 4-2 win at third-placed Atlético Madrid, a victory that saw Borussia Dortmund's upcoming Champions League opponents overtake Real Madrid at the top with 60 points thanks to their superior goal difference.
Julian Alvarez (45-1) and Alexander Sörloth (70) had given Atlético a 2-0 lead in their own stadium. Robert Lewandowski (72), Ferran Torres (78), Lamine Yamal (90.+2) and Torres again (90.+8) turned the game around and crowned a furious comeback. It was Barcelona's seventh league win in a row.
