After six years in the top English league, Swiss international Alisha Lehmann is moving to Italy. The 25-year-old striker is joining Juventus Turin.
Lehmann has worn the Aston Villa shirt for the last three seasons. Last season, she scored four goals in 20 competitive matches for the Birmingham club. She signed a contract with Juventus until the summer of 2027.
The rumor that Lehmann would follow the same path as her boyfriend Douglas Luiz had been circulating for some time. But now it's official. Lehmann shared the news with her millions of fans online on Saturday. "New chapter, I couldn't be happier," wrote the national team player.
Juventus Turin finished runners-up in the women's competition behind AS Roma. At Juve, Lehmann will also meet fellow Nati player Viola Calligaris.
