The semi-finals of the World Darts Championship in London take place on Thursday evening. With Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright, however, two greats have already been eliminated in the quarter-finals.

The eccentric Welshman Gerwyn Price lost 3:5 sets to the Englishman Chris Dobey. And Scotland's Peter Wright, the 2020 and 2022 World Champion, lost 2:5 to Stephen Bunting.

The semi-finals will pit Dutchman Michael van Gerwen against Chris Dobey and Stephen Bunting against Luke Littler or Nathan Aspinall. Van Gerwen has already won the World Championship three times.
