Denmark's handball team remains unblemished at the World Championships. The Olympic champions advanced to the semi-finals in Oslo with a clear 33:21 victory over Brazil.

The outsiders from South America kept up surprisingly well for a half (12:15 at the break), but in the end the defending champions were far too strong. On the Danish side, goalkeeper Emil Nielsen excelled with 15 saves. World handball player Mathias Gidsel contributed six goals to the success this time. Coach Nikolaj Jacobsen's team is unbeaten in 35 World Cup matches.

The Danes will face either Germany or Portugal in the semi-finals. The Danes have already played against the Germans in the main round in Herning. The Scandinavians easily won the rematch of the Olympic final last week 40:30.

In the other semi-final, co-hosts Croatia will face France in Zagreb.
