Alexander Blessin is the new coach of FC St. Pauli, who have returned to the Bundesliga. The 51-year-old German succeeds Fabian Hürzeler.
For the time being, the Hamburg club has not disclosed the terms of the contract. Blessin worked for Belgian first division club Union Saint-Gilloise last season.
Hürzeler, a Swiss-German dual national, moved to the Premier League with Brighton & Hove Albion.
