Alessandra Keller once again shows her good Olympic form. The athlete from Nidwalden wins the short track at the start of the Mountain Bike World Cup in Les Gets.

Keller came out on top in the French Alps ahead of Dutch rider Puck Pieterse and Australian Rebecca Henderson. The Swiss athlete thus celebrated her fourth podium finish in the sixth short track race of the season and extended her overall lead in this discipline. However, medals will only be awarded in cross-country at the Summer Games in Paris in just over three weeks' time.

The Swiss men missed out on the podium. Thomas Litscher and Filippo Colombo finished 5th and 6th respectively in the race won by South African Alan Hatherly, while Nino Schurter missed the last rendez-vous before the Olympics. Mathias Flückiger, the second Swiss Olympic starter, finished in 22nd place.
