Goaltender Akira Schmid will have to be content with playing in the AHL again. The Vegas Golden Knights have recalled the Bern native to the Henderson Silver Knights farm team.
Schmid has played once in the NHL for the franchise he joined in the summer from the New Jersey Devils. In the 5-2 defeat against the Carolina Hurricanes a week ago, he replaced the Canadian Adin Hill shortly before half-time after conceding four goals.
