Italian-Swiss Raffaele Marcielli finished second in the six-hour race in Fuji (JPN) with his team-mates Dries Vanthoor (BEL) and Marco Wittmann (GER).

The trio in their BMW lost just 16 seconds to the winning team of Kevin Estre, André Lotterer and Laurens Vanthoor in a Porsche. The Toyota team with Sébastien Buemi led the endurance race at times, but only finished in 10th place. They finished the race on the same lap. Nico Müller made it to 4th place in the Peugeot team.
