Jeremy Seewer finished 4th and 5th in the MXGP category of the Motocross World Championship at his home race in Frauenfeld.

In 4th place, the 30-year-old from Zurich missed out on the podium by just 1.363 seconds. In the overall world championship standings, Seewer improved from 5th to 4th place, although the gap to the top 3 is large. The Slovenian world championship leader Tim Gajser won both races in Frauenfeld.

Seewer switched from Yamaha to Kawasaki before this season. However, this move has not yet brought him the hoped-for closer to the world championship title. Seewer explains that he is not yet really at one with the bike.

Valentin Guillod from Fribourg defended his 9th place in the overall standings in eighth and 11th in Frauenfeld.
