Jeremy Finello (three misses) and Joscha Burkhalter (two) finished 31st and 51st respectively. Swiss team leader Niklas Hartweg is missing in France due to a flu-like infection.

Norway's Johannes Thingnes Bö surprisingly missed out on his 79th World Cup victory in an individual race. Although the 31-year-old was the fastest on the cross-country ski run, he was beaten by 1.4 seconds by his compatriot Martin Uldal due to a shooting error. The 23-year-old, who can shoot ultra-fast, celebrated his first victory in his fifth race at this level. He had already shown his potential in Hochfilzen with 7th and 5th place. The Swede Sebastian Samuelsson completed the podium.
