The major Russian attack in Kharkiv has not only come to a standstill: Now the enemy there is piling on the pressure. The Kremlin's forces are currently only making progress in parts of Donetsk.

blue News takes a virtual tour of the front: There is hardly any change in the south.
Moscow continues to bite its teeth out at Vuhledar.
Russia's army can make a difference west of Avdiivka.
What is the current situation in the war in Ukraine? We are scanning the front from south to north.
Hardly any movement in the south
There are three focal points in Kherson Oblast and Zaporizhia: Firstly, the Ukrainian bridgehead on the left, eastern bank of the Dnipro and secondly, the villages of Robotyne and Urozhaine.
In Kherson region, an attempt by the russian fascist invaders to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from the left bank of the Dnipro ended unsuccessfully.
The rashists carried out airstrikes on Ol'hivka and Burhunka.
The Russian army was still unable to drive the enemy from the eastern side of the river at Krynky and Oleshky. The Ukrainian forces have the upper hand with drones, while artillery and tanks provide support from the other side of the river.
To show how little the front at Robotyne was moving, a picture like the one above will suffice: Between June 1 and June 19, the Russian army made little progress.
The changes at Urozhaine, which is around 80 kilometers north-east of Robotyne and actually already in Donetsk Oblast, are similarly marginal.
Moscow continues to bite its teeth out at Wuhledar
If you drive 30 kilometers east from Urozhaine, you arrive in Wuhledar: The mining town has been resisting repeated Russian attacks for months. The mined, open terrain in the area invites the Ukrainian armed forces to hunt down mechanized Russian units, which repeatedly drive to their deaths here.
As the frontal attacks on Wuhledar from the south are yielding no results apart from heavy losses, the Russian army is attempting to advance into the hinterland from the east: If Putin's soldiers capture Konstyantynivka, they will cut off supplies via road 00532, which is used to bring supplies to Vuhledar.
This advance to the west is progressing slowly. And the Russian army is paying a high price in every settlement: a further advance seems unlikely due to the many fortified villages behind Konstyantynivka.
Donetsk: Moscow can make a difference west of Avdiivka
If the Russian army can report visible successes anywhere in June, it will be in the area of Avdiivka, ...
... where Putin's forces are making up ground to the west.
The next focal point in Donetsk Oblast is Chassiv Yar, which continues to stand up to the advancing enemy from Bachmut. The town lies on high ground behind a canal, which the Russians repeatedly try to cross to the north and south, but regularly fail.

North of Bachmut in the Luhansk Oblast, there have been no major changes to the front line - apart from a stretch of forest south of Kreminna, which Ukrainian forces were able to liberate. The Russian troops from this area have all been withdrawn for the major attack on Kharkiv.
This in turn has not only lost steam: the Russian army is even falling behind here. The battle for Vochansk, just before the border with Russia, continues: Several hundred Russian soldiers are trapped in an industrial quarter there, reports Reporting from Ukraine: even their supply via drones is no longer working.
Troops that the Russians have gathered near the industrial quarter to free their comrades are now in danger of being encircled themselves because the enemy has gone on the counterattack. Both sides are trying to control the situation by using drones and artillery.
The second Russian attack vector in Kharkiv in front of the Ukrainian village of Lipzy also becomes a death trap. The Russian infantry gathered in the nearby village of Hylboke, where Kiev's military attacked the enemy with mechanized units as well as helicopters and jets. This allegedly leads to very high casualties.
"They are simply destroying us," a Russian soldier is quoted as saying, half of whose unit is said to have been decimated. "We are sent out under machine gun fire and during daylight under drones - like meat. And the commanders just shout: 'Forward, forward!"
