EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has planned a joint press statement with Swiss President Viola Amherd in Bern on Friday afternoon. The negotiations between Switzerland and the EU are expected to be concluded on Friday.
The joint appearance could be seen on Friday in the program of the European Commission's European Broadcasting Service (EBS) video information service. According to the schedule, the two politicians are due to appear before the media at 2.15 pm.

Amherd traveled to Brussels to meet von der Leyen at the start of the negotiations on 18 March 2024.
