Two experienced female mountaineers from Great Britain and the USA have been rescued from an emergency in the Himalayas in northern India. The 37-year-old British mountaineer Fay Manners and the American Theresa Dvorak (31) were stuck for three days after they lost a rucksack containing food, a tent and other equipment on their way to the summit of the 6,995-metre-high Chaukhamba-3 on Thursday, reported the newspaper "Times of India".
