On Wednesday afternoon, ticket purchases and timetables in the SBB app were temporarily unavailable due to a malfunction. The problem was resolved at around 3.30 p.m., an SBB spokeswoman told the Keystone-SDA news agency.

SBB had temporarily advised its passengers to buy tickets in travel centers, at ticket machines or via ticket apps such as "Easy Ride". "Blick" first reported on the outage. SBB was initially unable to say what caused the disruption.
