The car manufacturer Stellantis recently lowered its profit expectations. Now there are changes in management. The top management is also set to change in the medium term.

Opel parent company Stellantis is looking for new leadership. The contract of CEO Carlos Tavares runs until the beginning of 2026, as the parent company of car manufacturers such as Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, Fiat, Chrysler and Jeep announced in Amsterdam. After that, Tavares, who is now 66 years old, will retire.

The Group is already looking for a successor. Stellantis has already appointed Santo Ficili as the new head of the Italian brands Maserati and Alfa Romeo. Meanwhile, the head of the Jeep brand, Antonio Filosa, is also to manage the entire day-to-day business in North America. The Group has yet to announce what the current North American head Carlos Zarlenga will do in future.

The company is also parting ways with its CFO Natalie Knight with immediate effect. Her successor will be Doug Ostermann.

In September, Stellantis lowered its profit expectations for this year due to problems in the North American market and the weak industry situation. The company now only expects an operating profit margin of 5.5 to 7.0 percent adjusted for special effects. Previously, a double-digit percentage was expected to remain.
