Media Tamedia reduces number of redundancies in editorial offices to 17

The media company Tamedia, which belongs to the TX Group, has completed the consultation process for the announced job cuts in its editorial offices. The number of redundancies has been reduced due to voluntary departures, early retirements and reductions in working hours.

As Tamedia announced on Tuesday, 17 redundancies will now be made in the editorial offices in German-speaking and French-speaking Switzerland. Originally, the publishing house had announced the reduction of 90 full-time positions in the editorial offices at the end of August. Due to internal changes and fluctuations, the number was reduced to around 55 full-time positions at the start of the consultations.
