At its meeting on Tuesday, the Lucerne Cantonal Council

- approved an urgent motion submitted by the Economy and Taxes Committee (Wak) on the conditional repatriation of profits by 86 votes to 27. The motion concerned the handling of profits made by companies that have received Covid hardship payments.

- A motion by David Roth (SP) to abolish the blacklist for defaulting premium payers was approved by 82 votes to 28.

- a postulate by Hannes Koch (Greens) for higher child allowances was rejected by 82 votes to 25.

- a postulate by Markus Bucher (center) was declared partially substantial by 87 votes to 21. The postulate concerned savings proposals from cantonal employees.

- a postulate from the Center Party, the FDP, the GLP, the SP and the Greens, which called for a moderate increase in compensation for members of the Cantonal Council, was passed by 84 votes to 30.
