Two young men robbed a grocery store in Nürensdorf ZH on Friday afternoon. They initially fled with several hundred francs in loot. They were later arrested by the police.

The two men entered the store shortly after 4.30 p.m. and threatened the cashier with a sharp object, Zurich cantonal police reported on Saturday. They then reached into the till and stole several hundred francs.

The men then fled on foot. With the help of passers-by, the police arrested one of the suspected robbers a short time later. After intensive investigations, the second suspect was also arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning, according to the cantonal police.

According to the press release, the arrested men are a 20-year-old North Macedonian and a 21-year-old Swiss national.
