According to the second projection by the research institute gfs.bern, the SVP has gained five seats in the parliamentary elections in Aargau. The FDP and EDU each gained one seat. The Greens lost four seats, while the SP, GLP and EPP lost one seat each.

The center holds its ground. According to the projection commissioned by the Aargau State Chancellery, the SVP, the party with the most voters, gained 3.7 percentage points to reach a voter share of 34.0%. The EDU increased its voter share from 1.6 to 1.9 percent, the FDP from 14.7 to 15.4 percent. With 73 seats, the SVP, FDP and EDU would now have a majority in the 140-seat Grand Council.
The biggest losers are the Greens, whose voter share fell from 10 percent to 7.2 percent. The GLP lost one percentage point and now has 8.2%. The SP's share of the vote fell from 16.6% to 16.1% and that of the EPP from 4.2% to 3.9%.
Voter turnout is around 32%. According to the second projection, the six parties share the seats in the Grand Council as follows: SVP 48 (+5), SP 22 (-1), FDP 22 (+1), Center 18 (0), Greens 10 (-4), GLP 12 (-1), EPP 5 (-1) and EDU 3 (+1).
