Following a fire with two fatalities in Bulle FR at the beginning of July, investigators are assuming that the fire was started accidentally or deliberately by people. The case has not yet been fully clarified and the police are still looking for clues, as they announced on Thursday.

The fire broke out shortly before 2.30 a.m. on July 2 in the underground garage of an apartment building. A 52-year-old man and his 13-year-old daughter died. Both died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Around 20 other people suffered smoke inhalation. Around 90 tenants were temporarily evacuated due to the fire.
