Bern One person slightly injured in workshop fire in Bettlach SO

A man was slightly injured in a fire in a workshop in Bettlach in the canton of Solothurn on Monday afternoon. It is still unclear why the fire broke out, as is the extent of the damage.

The fire department was alerted shortly before 3 pm. They were able to quickly control and extinguish the fire, according to the Solothurn cantonal police.

The injured man was in the workshop when the fire broke out. The ambulance took him to hospital. According to a police statement, however, he was only slightly injured.
