Late on Thursday evening, a new driver drove his sports car into a concrete wall on the main road between Frick AG and Eiken AG, causing a total loss. The 20-year-old driver and the 16-year-old passenger were uninjured, according to the Aargau cantonal police.

The young driver was driving on the main road from Frick to Eiken at 11.30 p.m. when he lost control of the 500 hp sports car, the police added. The car skidded across the road and crashed into the concrete wall of the railroad underpass.

The two occupants were uninjured, but the car, which was in mint condition, was reportedly totaled. According to initial findings by the police, the young man had accelerated his vehicle excessively and lost control as a result. He had to temporarily surrender his probationary driving license and the car was being technically inspected.
