Kuehne+Nagel opened a new logistics center for the sporting goods manufacturer Adidas in Mantua (Italy) on Friday. With an investment volume of 350 million euros, this is Kuehne+Nagel's largest single investment to date, the logistics company from Schindellegi SZ announced on Friday.

According to the information, 19 countries in Southern and Eastern Europe will be served with Adidas products from the highly automated center. The distribution center has 20 kilometers of conveyor belts and can process half a million shipments a day. The number of new jobs created is estimated at 700.

Kuehne+Nagel and Adidas announced the construction of the logistics hub in spring 2022. Mantua was chosen as the location for the distribution center due to its good connections to the road and rail network.
