After two editions in Basel, the Industry Night will also be held in Liestal and the surrounding area for the first time on September 20. Following the example of the Museum Night, 31 companies will open their doors to the general public. The "Industrienacht Regio Liestal" will take place in a total of five municipalities.

From 5 p.m. to midnight, Bubendorf, Itingen, Sissach and Thürnen will also offer the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of companies, as announced by the Industrienacht Basel association on Thursday. Three shuttle bus routes will connect the individual hosts.

The program includes numerous tours of production facilities and workshops from various industries. Experiments in the laboratory, changing wheels in the garage, a bus simulator, a wine aroma course in the winery and driving a truck crane with your own hands are just some of the activities on offer.

The ticket, which is valid for all stations, costs 10 francs. The event is free for children under 12, people with a Colorkey card or Kulturlegi and refugees.

The first Industrienacht der Region Basel took place in September 2022. According to the organizers, the second edition in April of this year was attended by 14,000 people. The concept had previously been held in Germany and subsequently in several Swiss cities.
