Burglary Fribourg police catch suspected burglars in the act

The Fribourg cantonal police stopped five suspected burglars in a store in Düdingen FR on Thursday night. The group consisted of one adult and four minors. They were arrested and questioned.

The police were alerted at 03:30 due to a burglary in progress in a store in Düdingen. When the emergency services arrived, the gang was still in the store. The police found cash in the possession of those involved, as they announced on Thursday.

Four of those arrested are aged between 13 and 15. They were traveling with a 21-year-old man. He will be reported to the public prosecutor's office. The minors will have to answer to the juvenile criminal court. The detainees are Moroccan and Libyan nationals respectively and live outside the canton of Fribourg.

The police are investigating whether the five are involved in other cases.
