Traffic accident Cyclist hit and injured by car in Kestenholz SO

A cyclist was hit by a car in Kestenholz SO on Monday afternoon and suffered moderate injuries. The accident occurred when a car driver drove from a side road into Gäustrasse, where she had the right of way, according to the Solothurn cantonal police on Tuesday.

In the collision at around 4.30 p.m., the 47-year-old motorist not only caused the cyclist to fall, but also crashed into a garden wall. The ambulance service took the injured man to hospital and the car was towed away.
