The rider of a racing bike collided with a girl in Allenwinden in the municipality of Baar ZG on Thursday. The 23-year-old was seriously injured in the collision. The twelve-year-old suffered minor injuries.

As the law enforcement authorities reported on Friday, the schoolgirl had run onto the road at the Allenwinden Dorf bus stop "without looking" in order to cross it. In doing so, she collided with the cyclist, who was heading towards Zug.

The two injured people were taken to hospital, it was reported.
