With immediate effect, an extensive flight and security zone will be in place and Davos will be cordoned off for the most part. All Swiss police forces are deployed to ensure security at the WEF in Davos. The police forces will be supported by up to 5,000 members of the armed forces on assistance duty, as explained by Divisional Commander Maurizio Dattrino at the WEF media conference.
