Zurich Barn fire in Freienstein causes extensive property damage

A barn burned down in Freienstein on Tuesday morning. The damage to property is estimated at around 250,000 francs. Residents of the adjacent residential building had to be evacuated.

However, no one was injured in the fire, as reported by the Zurich cantonal police on Tuesday afternoon. The barn burned down almost completely.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and is being investigated. The residents have already been able to return to their homes.
