Government Council BL Amended decree on the Basel Energy Act enters into force

The Basel-Landschaft government has amended its decree on the Energy Act in accordance with the ruling of the cantonal court on September 11. This will now come into force as planned on October 1 without the photovoltaic requirement for new buildings, as the government announced on Tuesday.

An appeal had been lodged against the decree, which the cantonal court partially upheld. Specifically, the court annulled the photovoltaic obligation for new buildings regulated in paragraph 2a. The cantonal government has adjusted its decision based on this ruling.
