Central Switzerland 52-year-old paraglider pilot injured in accident in Euthal SZ

A 52-year-old man was seriously injured in a paragliding accident in Euthal SZ on Friday afternoon. He was flown by rescue helicopter to a hospital outside the canton.

The man took off with his paraglider at the top station of the Euthal ski lift, as reported by the Schwyz cantonal police on Friday. During the landing approach at 3.15 p.m., the paraglider pilot got into difficulties and crashed from a height of around ten meters onto the grassland near the valley station of the ski lift. The accident victim sustained serious injuries.

SDA
