A 36-year-old sustained moderate injuries in a car accident in Ramosch GR on Sunday evening. According to initial findings by the police, the circumstances of the accident were quite unusual. The accident victim therefore had to undergo breath tests and a blood and urine test.

As the Graubünden cantonal police announced on Tuesday, the car involved in the accident was driving from Ramosch towards Martina on Sunday evening. In a left-hand bend near Ischla Rov, the car left the road and drove onto a parking lot on the right. There it collided with the crash barrier. As a result, the car skidded across both lanes and ended up on the left-hand side of an embankment.

Until Tuesday, it was unclear whether the 36-year-old was the driver of the car and whether there were any other people in the vehicle. The victim was taken to hospital.
