Traffic accident 19-year-old woman crashes her car while drunk in Flawil SG

Two women were slightly injured in a car accident in Flawil SG on Saturday night. According to the police, the 19-year-old driver was under the influence of alcohol. The ambulance took the two injured people to hospital.

The accident occurred at 00.15 a.m. on Magdenauerstrasse, according to the SG cantonal police. The driver lost control of her car in a wooded area. The car overturned and came to a halt lying on its roof.

The passenger was able to get out of the car on her own. The driver had to be rescued from the vehicle by the emergency services. A breath alcohol test carried out on the 19-year-old female driver was positive, it was reported. The car was totaled.
