Traffic accident 18-year-old seriously injured in accident with Forchbahn in Zurich

An 18-year-old girl fell under an incoming Forchbahn train at Hegibachplatz in Zurich. She was seriously injured in the accident on Thursday morning, according to Zurich city police.

According to the statement, the young woman was at the Hegibachplatz stop when the Forchbahn train arrived in the direction of Esslingen. It is unclear why she fell under the train.

The city police called out the accident investigation service to clarify the circumstances of the accident. The line between Kreuzplatz and Rehalp remained closed to public transport.
