The computer accessories manufacturer Logitech wants to strengthen its presence in China. Among other things, with more capital and human resources on site, as CEO Hanneke Faber said in an interview with Forbes China published on Monday.

"The large Chinese customer base is an important source of inspiration for Logitech and influences the company's business strategies in other parts of the world," Faber is quoted as saying. In order to increase revenue, Logitech plans to intensify its cooperation with Chinese technology and e-commerce giants such as Baidu, Tencent and JD Group.

Faber also emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) for Logitech. The company is aware of the rapid progress of AI in China and its important role in the global technology landscape.

Logitech employs over 2,400 people at its factory in Suzhou in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu, as well as 300 engineers and sales staff across the country. Products are also shipped from there to other regions of the world.
