Russia has once again attacked the Ukrainian capital Kiev from the air during the night. "It was the fifth airstrike on Kiev since the beginning of September," wrote the military administration of the city of Kiev on Telegram. All drones dangerous to the capital had been shot down.

The Ukrainian air defense reported the launch of two missiles and six drones in the morning. Russia had attacked from the Russian region of Kursk and the occupied region of Donetsk with three missiles and eight drones. The third missile had not reached its target and two drones had presumably crashed.

At the same time, Russian attacks from Sunday were still having an effect. According to Ukrainian reports, at least eight people have been killed and more than 30 injured in the past 24 hours.

Energy infrastructure under fire again

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy, there have been massive attacks on energy facilities in the regions of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv over the past 24 hours. In the Donetsk region, for example, substations were cut off from the power supply. A mine was also cut off from the power supply. According to the Ministry of Energy, more than 70 workers were working underground at the time of the shelling. All of them were brought to the surface.
