At least three people have been killed in an Israeli army attack on a target in Lebanon's capital Beirut, according to the authorities. Another 17 people were injured, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

The Lebanese news agency NNA had previously reported that at least five people had been killed. They are said to have been minors. Hezbollah's television station, Al-Manar, reported that one person was killed and 14 injured. The information could not initially be independently verified.
