The aforementioned strike could have been the hit on the Russian refinery in Tuapse on the Black Sea on Friday morning. This was reported by the news portal "Ukrajiinska Pravda" in Kiev, citing its own sources. According to the regional Russian authorities, the refinery was still burning on Saturday.
Ukraine has further developed missile
Ukraine sank the Russian cruiser "Moskva" shortly after the start of the war in April 2022 with the R360 Neptune anti-ship missile it had developed itself. Since then, the weapon has been further developed and given a longer range. Selensky spoke of the "Long Neptune". According to the military, series production has been underway since November 2024 following tests.
The country under attack from Russia is reliant on home-made weapons because it only receives small quantities of Western weapons with a longer range. The Russian arsenal of missiles and cruise missiles is much larger.
