Politics Reports of 38 dead in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip

According to Palestinian reports, 38 people have been killed in Israeli attacks at various locations in the Gaza Strip.

Among them were 13 Palestinians accompanying a delivery of aid supplies in the south of the coastal strip, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported. There were also casualties in attacks in the central section and in the north of Gaza, including women and children.

The Israeli army announced that, according to intelligence information about the presence of armed Hamas terrorists, two different "meeting points in the south of the Gaza Strip were targeted".

"The terrorists were operating on the humanitarian corridor in the south of the Gaza Strip," it continued. The aim of the attack was to ensure the safe delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians. Hamas terrorists had intended to intercept trucks carrying aid supplies.

Hamas triggered the Gaza war with its attack on October 7, 2023, which left more than 1,200 people dead. According to Palestinian figures, more than 44,800 people have been killed in the coastal strip since then.
