Politics Reports: Israeli forces kill Palestinians in Nablus

According to Palestinian reports, an Israeli special unit operating undercover has killed four men in the West Bank. According to the report, the Israeli forces opened fire on the Palestinians' car in the city of Nablus. Israel's army said on request that it was investigating the reports.

The Ministry of Health in Ramallah reported four dead who had been taken to a hospital in Nablus. The authority did not initially provide any further details on the circumstances of their deaths. The identity of those killed was initially unclear.

Footage circulating on social media is said to show the attack on the Palestinians in the car. Armed people can be seen shooting at the car. Another video shows four men in the vehicle, motionless and covered in blood.

The already tense situation in the West Bank has worsened considerably since the Hamas massacre a year ago and the resulting Gaza war. Since then, according to the Ministry of Health in Ramallah, around 710 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli military operations, armed clashes and attacks by extremists.
