The four women released from Hamas captivity are back in Israel, according to the Israeli army. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) had handed over the young female soldiers - one is 19, the others 20 years old - to the army shortly beforehand. According to a military spokesperson, they are on their way to an initial reception point in southern Israel, where they will be medically examined and reunited with family members for the first time. They will then be taken to a hospital in central Israel for further examinations.
