Israel Qatar: Ceasefire in Gaza to begin at 8.30 a.m.

The ceasefire agreed between Israel and Hamas is to come into force in the Gaza Strip at 8.30 a.m. (7.30 a.m. CET) on Sunday morning, according to mediator Qatar. The two parties to the conflict and the mediators had agreed on this, wrote the Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman, Madschid al-Ansari, in a post on X. Earlier it was said that the ceasefire would come into force at 12.15 pm.
