Russia Moscow attacks Ukraine with drones across the country at night

Russia has once again attacked Ukraine with drones on a large scale during the night. A total of around 70 of the unmanned flying objects were launched, wrote Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi on his Telegram channel. According to the report, objects in the Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Odessa, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kherson, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, as well as around the capital Kiev, were the targets of the attacks. He announced that the majority of attacks had been repelled, but at the same time once again called for further strengthening of air defenses.

The Ukrainian air force itself reported the downing of 72 of the 76 drones launched. The air force did not provide any information about the consequences of the attack.

Major damage was reported primarily in the Black Sea region of Odessa. In a suburb of the regional capital, several buildings, including a residential building, were damaged by drone debris, wrote military governor Oleh Kiper on Telegram. In the Ismajil district, through which Ukraine ships parts of its grain, storage buildings were hit.

According to the authorities, several pieces of debris also fell in Kiev. A municipal company was hit, but no fire broke out, wrote Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
