Following the attempted assassination of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has identified the suspected shooter, according to media reports. It is a 20-year-old man from near Pittsburgh in the state of Pennsylvania, CNN, the New York Times and others reported, citing the FBI. The investigation is still ongoing. There was still no information about a possible motive. The shooter, who is said to have fired an assault rifle, was killed at the scene. Trump was injured in the ear during the attack.
