According to military reports, the Israeli air force has attacked around 150 targets in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon within 24 hours. These were targets of the Islamist terrorist organization Hamas and the Lebanese Hezbollah militia, according to the army statement.

There was talk of "terror infrastructure, command centers, weapons depots, reconnaissance posts and rocket launchers that threaten the state of Israel".
On Wednesday, a Hezbollah cell was killed by an airstrike north of Tyre after firing a missile at an Israeli army aircraft. The plane was not hit.
According to the Israeli army, Hezbollah fired a total of around 60 missiles at Israel from Lebanon on Wednesday. Several people were injured. The militia, which is allied with Iran, has been firing at Israel since the beginning of the Gaza war more than a year ago. Israel responded with massive air strikes and now also a ground offensive.
Hundreds of thousands on the run in Lebanon
Due to the war with Israel, an estimated 1.4 million people are now displaced in Lebanon, a country with a population of around six million.
According to Lebanese figures, a total of 2,822 people have been killed and 12,937 injured since the outbreak of fighting more than a year ago. Among the casualties are more than 555 women and 166 minors.
The Israeli army estimates that around 2,000 armed fighters have been killed in Lebanon since the beginning of the war, including 1,200 since the start of the ground offensive.
According to Israeli figures, 64 people have been killed by shelling from Lebanon in northern Israel since the start of the war, including 32 civilians, two foreigners and 30 soldiers.
