Politics Israel: Air alert due to missile from Yemen
According to the Israeli army, it has once again intercepted a missile fired in Yemen. The projectile was destroyed while still outside Israeli airspace. Nevertheless, there was another air raid alert in parts of the country, causing thousands to rush to shelters.

The Houthi militia in Yemen repeatedly bombarded Israel with rockets and drones loaded with explosives. The militia confirmed that it had fired a missile at an "important target" in the greater Tel Aviv area.
Like Hamas in the Gaza Strip, the Houthi are allied with Israel's arch-enemy Iran. According to its own statements, it is acting out of solidarity with Hamas. Israel, the USA and their allies have already launched several massive airstrikes on targets in Yemen in response.
