Several hundred people gathered on the Bundesplatz in Bern on Saturday to commemorate the persecution of Christians around the world. This was observed by a reporter from the Keystone-SDA news agency on site.

In 78 countries, Christians are being persecuted for their faith, in some cases on a massive scale, according to an appeal by several Christian organizations. With the rally, "we are giving a voice to the persecuted", they said. At the same time, it encourages those affected and shows them that they are not forgotten.
