Dozens of people have once again been killed in Israeli attacks in Lebanon. On Monday, a total of 41 people were killed in various regions, as the Ministry of Health announced in the afternoon. A further 124 were injured.

Most of the people were killed in an airstrike in the north of the country. According to security sources, the attack in the predominantly Christian town of Aito hit a building in which internally displaced persons had sought refuge.

According to the Israeli military, a target with links to Hezbollah was attacked. The case is being investigated.

None of the information could be independently verified.

A total of 2,350 people have been killed and 10,906 others injured in Lebanon since the outbreak of fighting between the pro-Iranian Hezbollah militia and the Israeli military just over a year ago. The Ministry of Health does not differentiate between Hezbollah members and civilians in its list.
